I've modified some of them slightly, but not to any great extent. They seemed pretty relaxed about passing patches along, so I don't believe I'm violating any copyrights or such stuff. I'll probably be passing some more patches from my SMA (Synthesizer Music and Audio) Bank in the future, whenever I get further inspiration to manually retrieve them and then type them in. (BTW, should any of these result in catastrophic sounds, it's probably due to a typo, so let me know and I'll try to figure out where the mistake is). Celeste: Beautiful bell-like piano sound. I use it to let my PC play "Fur Elise". Really good for classical. Would also do good in Springsteen stuff, such as the intro to "Rosalita". Van Halen: Real good version of the "Jump" synth sound, which is really an awesome brass. Hit the lowest C in the keyboard, let it rattle a bit, keeping the low C depressed add a Gmaj on the 4th octave, going to a Cmaj 2nd inversion and then to an Fmaj (all in the 4th octave). You'll have people screaming "Go Eddie!" French Horn: Not a real good French Horn, but a nice sound anyway. I use it to do a little part from ELP's Trilogy (the song with "Fugue" in the middle), and the bit in the Talking Heads' "This must be the Place". I use the the bend with this a lot, that is why parameter 66 (pitch bend amount) is the Last Par. (i.e., parameter modified by the slider and/or up-down buttons) Helicopter: Self-explanatory. A good version of the beast. I does take a while to build up, so keep the key depressed. Dan Vanevic mvuxv!rael MV 2B-45
